The speed regulation method of AC motor itself does not have speed regulation function. It is necessary to use electromagnetic speed regulation equipment or install a frequency converter to achieve speed regulation function. In the winding equipment, we commonly use frequency converter speed regulation method. By controlling the frequency converter through the control system of the winding equipment manufacturer's winding equipment, the motor has speed regulation function, which also has a certain energy-saving effect.

At present, there are two common types of DC motors: DC brushless and DC brushless. DC motors need to convert the supplied power into DC power to drive the motor. Therefore, DC motors are equipped with DC speed control boards or brushless drivers to drive and control the motor. Due to the small size of the motor, it is widely used in small winding equipment.

Servo motors have only been applied to automatic winding machines in recent years. They are precision moving components suitable for high-precision winding equipment and are used in conjunction with specialized drivers to achieve closed-loop operation control. One of the main characteristics of this type of motor is constant torque and closed-loop operation, which is used to meet the processing requirements of high-precision coils.

The fully automatic winding machine produced by manufacturers of automatic winding machines has emerged in response to the increasing demand for labor and product quality. It can be combined into a highly automated device through motors, pneumatic components, transmission devices, sensors, electric components, control systems, etc. Usually, it can automatically arrange wires, wrap ends, break and clamp wires, twist wires, and load and unload materials. Operators only need to ensure sufficient raw materials and timely replacement when there are no workpieces or copper wires to ensure continuous production. Usually, the number of shafts is high to achieve efficient production. Machines with a high degree of automation can meet the requirement for one employee to oversee multiple devices simultaneously.
