Industrial ceramic materials are generally very hard and wear-resistant, so they are particularly difficult to process. The following is the analysis of the technical performance of industrial ceramics and their composite materials in Kezhong Ceramics Factory.

Industrial ceramic materials are high-temperature-resistant ceramics and have the characteristics of high melting point, high hardness, wear resistance, and generally non-conductive. And processing technology not only directly affects the performance of materials, affects the cost of materials, but also directly affects the popularization and application of ceramic materials. Therefore, the low-cost preparation and processing technology of ceramic materials has always been an important part of the ceramic industry's efforts to tackle key problems.

For example, the solid phase content of the green body can reach more than 60% by using the gel injection molding method, and the density after curing can be as high as 65%. The cost has been greatly reduced, and it is one of the new billet making technologies. Sintering technology has also been continuously improved, among which technologies such as pressureless sintering, low-low temperature sintering, microwave sintering and plasma rapid sintering have always been the research content of the ceramic industry, and are the key to reducing costs and saving energy.

The processing of ceramic materials is also a technical problem. In addition to special processing technology, it will be an important development direction to realize near-net size molding by using the precision processing technology of green bodies combined with pressureless sintering technology. The waiting point is the integration of preparation and processing , the two are no longer in the obvious technical division of labor. In addition, the rapid prototyping technology of ceramic materials organically combines the processing and molding of materials, making it possible to form near-net dimensions.

This includes Layered Solid Manufacturing (LOM), Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), Shape Deposition Modeling (SDM), Jet Printing (Inc Jet Methods), Inkjet Deposition (Ink Jet Deposition), Stereolithography (SLA), Selection Laser sintering (SILS), etc., are characterized by the gradual accumulation of porcelain tubes into the desired shape from the local to the whole. At present, ceramic materials such as Al2O3 and ZrO2 have been successfully processed by this method.
