Introduction to the Injection Molding Process of Alumina Ceramics

Author:Vincent Huang Time:2023-05-05 Hits:

There are four major processes in the injection molding process of alumina ceramics, namely temperature, molding cycle, pressure, and speed. Below, Kezhong Ceramic Factory will briefly introduce them to you.

The injection molding process refers to the process where the mixed injection mixture is heated and transformed into a viscous melt in the injection molding machine, which is high-speed injected into a metal mold at a certain temperature and pressure, cooled and solidified into the desired shape of the embryo, and then demolded.

The injection molding process is an incompressible, non isothermal, and non-stationary flow process. Improper control of process parameters can cause numerous defects in the product, which cannot be detected until after degreasing and sintering. Therefore, controlling and optimizing injection process parameters is crucial for improving product yield and material utilization.
