How to deal with a broken circuit in a winding machine

When a wire break occurs in the winding machine, it is called a wire break in the winding machine, which is a condition of internal phase loss in the motor. When there is a circuit breaker in the winding machine, a series of problems may occur in the electric timing, ranging from difficulty in starting, unbalanced three-phase current, abnormal vibration, to temperature rise exceeding the controllable range, smoke from the winding machine, and burning.

（1） Cause of occurrence

The main reasons for the circuit breaker of the winding machine include: the circuit was torn during maintenance; Manufacturing process issues; Poor welding of the wire heads of various components of the winding machine, overheating and desoldering; The winding machine is damaged by external force; Short circuit and grounding of the winding machine, resulting in burning, etc.

（2） Detection method

1. Observation method. The direction where breakpoints often appear is usually at the end of the winding machine. The winding machine manufacturer can visually check if there is any desoldering at the two ends of the winding machine.

2. Multimeter or tramegger detection method. Measure the beginning and end of each phase of the winding machine separately, and the infinite phase is the open circuit phase.

3. Power-on detection method. When the motor is running normally, use a clamp ammeter to measure the three-phase current. If the three-phase current is unbalanced and the short circuit problem can be eliminated, then the low current winding machine has an open circuit problem.

（3） Handling repair methods

When the circuit breaker is at the end, after connecting it, weld it firmly from the beginning, wrap it with appropriate insulation and dry it with insulating paint, and then cover it with an insulating sleeve to use.
